This Privacy Policy will inform you what personal data we collect when you use our site, how we use that data and what are your privacy protection rights. Please, read it.
1. Who are we
This website (“connectnordics.com” or “Our Site”) is owned by the Bulgaria Nordics Business Council, a non-profit organization registered under Bulgarian law with Unified Identification Code 206686412 (“We”, “Us”). We collect and process your personal data according to all requirements of the EU GDPR and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Law.
2. What data do we collect and how do we collect it
- When you register and log in to Our Site with an e-mail, we collect information about your name, e-mail address, and phone number. When you access Our Site through your LinkedIn profile, we will use basic information from your LinkedIn profile, as well as any other LinkedIn information that you have permitted for sharing with third parties.
- We collect automatically (including through “cookies”) some usage data when you register an account with Our Site, log in, use it, read our articles and materials, take part in online events and discussions, talk with the Chatbot, receive our newsletter, or otherwise interact with Our Site. Usage data is your device’s internet protocol address, internet browser type and version, pages of Our Site that you visit, time and date of your visit, time spent on these pages, device identifiers, or other diagnostic data. 3. Lawfulness of data collection
We collect and process your data on the basis of your informed consent, that you give to us by accepting this Privacy Policy and Cookies before accessing Our Site or by subscribing to our newsletter without registering an account with Our Site. We also will have a legal basis to process your data if it is required from Us in order to comply with a legal obligation under the EU or Bulgarian legislation.

We do not collect and process special categories of personal data, such as personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic, biometric, and health data. We do not encourage you to share such data of yours when using Our Site.

You directly provide Us with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

Our activity is devoted to helping companies from the regions of Northern Europe and from Southeastern Europe to connect with each other in order to find and enter new markets. Our Site is intended to help you scale your business, grow your network and tell your story digitally. Our Site collects your data so that we can:

- Provide you with articles and materials, and with information about business opportunities and future events from the two regions

8. Time period for which we keep your data
Our Site will keep your data for as long as it is necessary for using your account registered on Our Site or until you unsubscribe to our newsletter. Once you delete your account, we will delete your data automatically.
9. Statistics
We might collect and process your personal data and preferences for statistical purposes, in order to study and analyze through Google Analytics Our Site’s users’ behavior, and offer them content and information which would interest them. We will not do it for profit but only for providing a better service of ours.

We want to make sure that you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user with a registered account on Our Site is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – you have the right to request Our Site for copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – you have the right to request that Our Site corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Site to complete information you believe is incomplete.

Our Site’s platform provider Abilitics (our data processor) has its own Privacy Policy which we recommend you read since it explains technical details on collection, procession and storage of personal data by Our Site.

By accessing ConnectNordics through your LinkedIn account, you should consent to LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
